ZEBOX UK Launches Its Steering Committee to Accelerate Innovation Across the Group

In February, Jonas Schneider, Head of ZEBOX UK, officially launched the UK Steering Committee, marking an important milestone in ZEBOX’s continued growth and commitment to innovation in the UK.

Chaired by Natasha Griffin, Managing Director of CMA CGM UK, the committee brings together senior leaders from across the group, including Chris Lawrenson, Arlene Jones, Karina Boudjema, Oliver Woodmansee, Debbie Godkin, and Paul Farr.

Together, the committee represents a wealth of expertise spanning; operations, IT, energy, finance, R&D, and security, reinforcing ZEBOX UK’s strategic position within the wider CMA CGM Group.

The session outlined the structure, governance, and strategic importance of the Steering Committee, modelled on the successful frameworks already in place in Singapore and the US. The launch also featured presentations from two startups currently collaborating within the ZEBOX ecosystem:

· Freightmate – An AI-driven document automation solution for logistics, having successfully completed three proof-of-concepts with CMA CGM, delivering strong accuracy and compliance results.

· Happy Robot – An AI-powered agent designed to enhance customer and sales interactions, recently piloted in the UK and adaptable across markets.

These presentations demonstrated how ZEBOX translates innovation into measurable operational impact.

Moving forward the Steering Committee will play a key role in identifying business priorities, accelerating collaboration, and scaling successful innovation initiatives across the UK. With strong alignment across leadership and a shared ambition to drive impactful innovation, the launch of the UK Steering Committee represents a significant step forward for ZEBOX UK.
