After successful pilots in sales, customer service and finance, CMA CGM is expanding its multilingual AI voice agents, developed with HappyRobot, a startup it discovered through the ZEBOX acceleration programme (Spring 2025 cohort) and has since invested in.
The figures speak for themselves. Eva, the AI sales agent, has already contacted more than 4,000 customers in the UK and Senegal, with about one-third moving on to active discussions, and CMA CGM aims to deploy it in 20 countries by the end of 2026. In customer service, the agents now resolve over 46% of cargo release enquiries directly. In finance, they chase unpaid invoices, with some customers settling on the spot.
Already live in Europe and North America, the solution will extend to CEVA Logistics and new markets in Africa, South America and Asia, freeing teams to focus on high-value interactions across the Group's 54 million yearly customer requests.
