From June 8 to 10, 2026, the startups of the fourth cohort took part in an immersive program in Marseille to kick off their acceleration journey and forge their first collaborations. The program included strategic diagnostic sessions to build a tailored roadmap, meetings with CMA CGM Group's Vice Presidents and business teams at the Head Office to identify concrete use cases, and a Partner Day dedicated to speed meetings with ZEBOX's corporate partners — BNP Paribas, Centrimex, Infosys, Jifmar, Orange, Transdev and VINCI.
32 International Startups Join the Spring 2026 Cohort
This new cohort brings together 32 innovative startups from multiple international ecosystems (full list in appendix). Among them, 14 are French, 8 American, 3 German, 2 British, 2 Singaporean, and one each from Belgium, Australia and Switzerland. This geographic diversity reflects the truly international scope of the ZEBOX program and its ability to attract innovation talent from around the world.
Rigorous Selection, Driving Real-Impact Collaborations
Twice a year, ZEBOX selects around thirty startups from several hundred applications worldwide. The selection process is deliberately demanding: each application is evaluated on the technological maturity of the solution, the quality and experience of the leadership team, the innovation's differentiation in its market, and its ability to address concrete operational needs identified by CMA CGM Group decision-makers and its industrial partners.
The selected startups aren't merely promising — they were chosen because they address real operational challenges championed by the Group's Vice Presidents and business teams. This alchemy between cutting-edge innovation and grounding in industrial realities lies at the heart of the ZEBOX model.
The selected startups address key themes such as technological competitiveness, environmental impact, and health and safety at work. They benefit from direct access to CMA CGM Group decision-makers and support from internal experts to refine their solutions and align them with the Group's needs, including through mentoring sessions with its Vice Presidents. They also benefit from ZEBOX's expertise in successfully entering their markets, while accelerating their funding and maximizing visibility for their innovation.
These startups are developing solutions in key fields such as artificial intelligence, decarbonization, robotics, supply chain, energy, cybersecurity, logistics optimization and data management.
Results from Previous Cohorts Confirm the Effectiveness of the ZEBOX Model
In 2025, the two previous cohorts supported 60 innovative startups, generating concrete, measurable results. 26 innovation trials were funded and conducted directly by the CMA CGM Group, validating the operational relevance of the proposed solutions. Beyond the Group, 15 additional startups were entrusted with proofs of concept by ZEBOX's industrial partners, demonstrating the program's ability to create high-impact collaborations well beyond the CMA CGM ecosystem alone. These results confirm that the ZEBOX model — built on rigorous selection and close proximity to industrial decision-makers — produces durable, high-value collaborations.
