ZEBOX, the international innovation accelerator founded by CMA CGM Group, announces its integration into the skills-based volunteering program developed by Entrepreneurs for the Planet with the support of CMA CGM Group. This new milestone aims to strengthen support for entrepreneurs committed to ecological transition by combining mentoring, industry expertise, and business acceleration.
ZEBOX Brings Its Acceleration Expertise to Impact-Driven Projects
Since its creation, ZEBOX has supported innovative startups by facilitating access to industry expertise, corporate partners, and an international network of businesses. By joining the initiative led by Entrepreneurs for the Planet, ZEBOX is now extending this expertise to entrepreneurs developing environmental and social impact solutions.
To bring this ambition to life, a joint ZEBOX–CMA CGM task force has been established to identify high-potential projects within the Entrepreneurs for the Planet community and provide tailored support aligned with their development needs.
Selected entrepreneurs will benefit from both the operational expertise of CMA CGM Group employees and the resources of the ZEBOX ecosystem, which includes startups, experts, investors, and major corporate partners.
A Program Combining Innovation, Industry Expertise, and Environmental Commitment
Since 2023, CMA CGM Group has participated in the “Impact Partnerships” program, an initiative led by Entrepreneurs for the Planet that connects entrepreneurs engaged in ecological transition with business leaders and industry experts.
Through this initiative, volunteer employees from CMA CGM, CEVA Logistics, and Colis Privé contribute their skills and experience to entrepreneurs developing solutions that address major environmental and societal challenges.
With ZEBOX joining the initiative in 2026, the program reaches a new milestone. Alongside the support provided by Entrepreneurs for the Planet and the business expertise contributed by CMA CGM Group employees, entrepreneurs now also benefit from ZEBOX’s innovation ecosystem and acceleration capabilities.
This complementary approach provides entrepreneurs with mentoring, operational expertise, and acceleration support to help scale projects focused on decarbonization, circular economy solutions, renewable energy, biodiversity preservation, and other sustainability challenges.
“In the face of the environmental and social challenges we must collectively address, we firmly believe that businesses have a major role to play. Thanks to the commitment of CMA CGM employees and the ZEBOX ecosystem, this program enables impact entrepreneurs to benefit from top-tier support that helps accelerate their development. It is a concrete illustration of what we have championed since our creation: putting the skills, experience, and networks of economic stakeholders at the service of ecological and social transition.” - Henri-Pierre Dewulf, President of Entrepreneurs for the Planet
“The integration of ZEBOX into this three-party initiative is a natural fit. It extends our acceleration mission by adding a strong environmental and regional dimension. We are proud to make our ecosystem available to startups actively contributing to ecological transition, alongside a committed global company such as CMA CGM and an organization as deeply rooted in local communities as Entrepreneurs for the Planet.” - Frédéric Guilleux, CEO of ZEBOX
Nearly 30 Impact Partnerships Already Established
Since the launch of the CMA CGM Group skills-based volunteering program with Entrepreneurs for the Planet, nearly 30 partnerships have been formed between volunteer employees and committed entrepreneurs.
The program enables entrepreneurs to benefit from personalized support while employees deepen their understanding of emerging environmental challenges and gain new perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship.
As a result, the initiative helps foster concrete solutions while strengthening the culture of engagement and innovation among participating teams.
