ZEBOX celebrates its second birthday, overview and perspectives
Founded in 2018 under the impulse of Rodolphe Saadé, Chairman and CEO of CMA CGM, and supported by GTT, CIMC, BNP PARIBAS, EY, CEVA Logistics, CENTRIMEX and ACCENTURE, the ZEBOX international incubator and startup accelerator is celebrating its second birthday.
Its mission: to be the link between major international players and startups, to enable them to co-develop together and accelerate their development. With global reach, ZEBOX has also launched its incubation program in the Caribbean and plans to open new hubs abroad in 2021.

World tour of startups with high technological potential
Specialized in two sectoral fields – transport/logistics/mobility and industry 4.0 – ZEBOX accompanies startups on high-potential matters such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual or augmented reality, the IoT and robotics.
Since their creation, the two support programs have selected a very varied range of projects, all of them disruptive: from the deep tech startup specializing in data certification in the supply chain (OWNEST), to the MedTech startup (KIRO) that develops artificial intelligence solutions for medical biology, or the fintech FUNDBOT specializing in the optimization of company’s cash management. Emphasis is also placed on startups developing ‘Greentech’ solutions, working towards sustainable development, such as SEAROUTES, FUELSAVE or GEOPALLET.
A powerful digital ecosystem
Some companies accompanied by ZEBOX were able to impress the structure’s circle of corporate partners. For example, the startups Wing and Notilo + have been actively engaged in strategic partnerships with CEVA Logistics and CMA CGM for over a year now. Other startups that joined ZEBOX in May 2020 are currently working alongside CMA CGM on POCs.
More than €13m raised, 75 jobs created and major expansion projects in full swing
Always working with its network of partners from the ecosystem, ZEBOX supports startups in their fundraising, search for talent and international acceleration. The startups have thus managed to attract investors and have managed to secure more than 13 million euros collectively.
On the employment side, 75 jobs have been created by startups in the ZEBOX community since the structure was launched.
The strength of ZEBOX lies in its international influence and ambition, to become the international benchmark in terms of the incubation and acceleration of startups working with technological innovations related to their fields of application.
As an extension of this international strategy, ZEBOX plans to announce the opening of new subsidiaries in the near future to offer entrepreneurs the possibility of exploring and entering new markets.
